In a grand ceremony marked by tradition and cultural splendour, Hajia Hamdalat Etudaiye (née Bello) was installed as the Ọmọloju Ọba Obinrin of Ipee land in Oyun local government area of Kwara State, yesterday.
The prestigious title was conferred upon her by the Onipe of Ipee, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Alhaji) Mufutau Adebayo Lawal, at the Onipe’s palace in Ipee.
Hajia Hamdalat, a proud daughter of Ipee, has long been recognized for her dedication and contributions to the community.
Her installation as Ọmọlojuọba is seen as a recognition of her longstanding commitment to promoting the values, traditions, and development of Ipee land.
Although rooted in Ipee by birth, Hajia Hamdalat is married to Alhaji Etudaiye from Okene, Kogi State.
Her diverse cultural ties further enhance her influence and ability to build bridges between communities, a trait lauded by attendees during the installation ceremony.
The event attracted a gathering of traditional rulers, community leaders, dignitaries, family members, and well-wishers who came to witness and celebrate this significant milestone.
