The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has identified Osun and Oyo States as the party’s next political targets.
Ganduje made this statement following the election victory of Lucky Aiyedatiwa in Ondo State. Commending Aiyedatiwa as a “sellable product,” he also expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his support during the election.
Speaking to journalists in Akure, the Ondo State capital, after Aiyedatiwa’s win, Ganduje remarked, “This is democracy in action, and what is more important is that all major stakeholders, including INEC, believe the election was free, fair, and credible. Everybody agrees it was a credible election. The people chose APC for continuity, ensuring no abandoned projects.”
Highlighting the APC’s readiness for future challenges, Ganduje added, “Our next target is Osun, Oyo States, and you know we are good at hitting our targets.”
