Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has claimed that the best doctors in the United States are of Nigerian descent.
Speaking during an interview on Afric TV, the singer emphasized the significant contributions of Africans across professional and creative fields. He highlighted the remarkable talent of Africans, not only in music but also in industries such as filmmaking and medicine.
Davido stated, “The best doctors in America are Nigerians. You can look it up. Even in my record label [Sony Music], Africans bring the best ideas. This shows that our creativity is unmatched.
“Netflix and Amazon Prime are coming to Africa for movie ideas. If you check Netflix’s top 10, you’ll often find at least two Nigerian movies there. Africa is the future, trust me. We have everything, just a few things are still missing.”
While Nigerians are known for their exceptional contributions to the medical field in the U.S., available statistics do not explicitly support the claim that they are the best.
