The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State has suspended Alhaji Tajudeen Aro, the party’s immediate past Publicity Secretary, over allegations of anti-party activities.

This was revealed in a letter obtained by Just Event Online TV on Sunday, which Aro himself shared in a WhatsApp group, confirming his suspension.

The letter, signed by the party executives of Ojomu North West ward in Offa Local Government Area, accused Aro of engaging in actions that threatened the unity and stability of the party. Specifically, the charges against him include anti-party activities, attempts to sow discord and divisiveness within the party, and a blatant disregard for the party’s authority.

According to the letter, the suspension took effect immediately and will remain in place pending further disciplinary actions.

The party executives emphasized that the decision was necessary to preserve party discipline and cohesion, stating that Aro’s behavior had undermined the party’s collective interests.
