In a significant boost to youth empowerment and technological advancement, the Offa Students Union National Headquarters has announced that 30 of its members will receive free technological training at One Innovation Hub, Offa (ONEIH).

This initiative is made possible through the facilitation of Chief Alhaji Abdullateef Kunle Ajeigbe, the Aare Bobaselu of Offa, and generosity of Alhaji (QS) Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode, the founder of MOK Foundation.

The announcement was made by the Union’s President, Comrade Soliu Mubarak Olaiya, who praised Alhaji Ajeigbe for his instrumental role in securing the training slots.

The training aims to equip students with essential tech skills, bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, thereby enhancing their employability and entrepreneurial potential.

“This initiative is a testament to Alhaji Ajeigbe’s commitment to youth development and his dedication to our community. His support will not only provide our students with valuable technological skills but also inspire them to strive for excellence in their future careers.”

The training, scheduled to commence this month (August 2024), will cover various aspects of technology, preparing the students for the demands of the modern workforce.

The Offa Students Union sees this as a critical step in their mission to uplift and equip the next generation of leaders.

“We are immensely grateful to Alhaji Ajeigbe and the MOK Foundation for this opportunity. Their contributions are making a significant impact on our students’ lives and the future of our community.”

The Offa Students Union National Headquarters encourages its members to take full advantage of this opportunity and looks forward to a continued partnership with Alhaji Ajeigbe and other stakeholders committed to youth empowerment.
