The Oroki Crystals Club extends its heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all Muslims on the joyous occasion of Eid-Ul-Adha. As one of the most significant celebrations in the Islamic faith, Eid-Ul-Adha symbolizes the ultimate devotion and submission to God, commemorating Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering obedience to Allah’s command.
According to Islamic tradition, Ibrahim was commanded by Allah to sacrifice his beloved son as a test of faith. Demonstrating unparalleled devotion, Ibrahim prepared to fulfil this divine command. However, Allah, impressed by Ibrahim’s dedication, intervened and provided a lamb for sacrifice instead. This profound act of faith is memorialized every year on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the final month of the Islamic lunar calendar.
Muslims around the world mark Eid-Ul-Adha with communal prayers held in mosques, fostering a sense of spiritual unity and collective worship. Central to the celebration is the tradition of “Qurbani,” or animal sacrifice, where an animal such as a lamb, camel, or goat is sacrificed to symbolize Ibrahim’s willingness to obey Allah. The meat from the sacrificed animal is then distributed among family, friends, and those in need, reflecting the values of generosity and charity.
