Eid-Ul-Adha Message by Dr. Boniface Aniebonam, Founder of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP)
Dear Fellow Nigerians,
As we gather to celebrate Eid-Ul-Adha, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all Muslims across our great nation. This blessed occasion, the Festival of Sacrifice, is a time for reflection, gratitude, and unity.
Eid-Ul-Adha commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son in obedience to God’s command. It is a profound reminder of the virtues of faith, sacrifice, and submission to the will of the Almighty. These values are essential not only in our spiritual lives but also in our collective efforts to build a stronger and more unified Nigeria.
In these times of celebration, let us remember those who are less fortunate and extend our hands in compassion and support. The true essence of Eid lies in sharing and caring for one another. Let us reach out to our neighbors, friends, and those in need, fostering a spirit of solidarity and brotherhood.
As we observe this sacred festival, I urge all Nigerians to embrace the principles of peace, tolerance, and mutual respect. Our nation’s diversity is our strength, and through unity, we can overcome the challenges we face and achieve the greatness that lies within our reach.
On behalf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), I wish you all a joyous and blessed Eid-Ul-Adha. May this festival bring you happiness, peace, and prosperity. Let us use this occasion to renew our commitment to the values that bind us together as one people and one nation.
Eid Mubarak!
