Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central senatorial district, has distributed rams to central mosques across the district as part of her preparations for Eid-el-Kabir.
The beneficiary mosques were identified as those located in the five local government areas of the senatorial district.
In her goodwill message, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan extended warm greetings to Muslims worldwide and urged them to use the occasion to promote love, tolerance, and pray for sustained peace in the country.
She stated that Eid-el-Kabir, a sacred holiday commemorating the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son, is a powerful reminder of the values of faith, obedience, and selflessness. She noted that the occasion honors the unwavering dedication of Prophet Ibrahim and the unshakeable trust of his son, Prophet Ismail (Ishmael).
On this blessed day, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan joined all Muslim faithful in rejoicing in the spirit of unity, compassion, and gratitude. She urged everyone to imbibe the principles of peace, love, and service to humanity.
