Today Thursday 18th January 2024, the Olofa of Offa, HRM Oba Muftau Gbadamosi, Ajagungbade 1, Esuwoye II and ODU Global President, Alhaji Muideen Olaniyi Azeez Salako, accompanied by ODU National General Secretary-Dr. Rauf Abiodun Oladipo, Aare Musbau Olaniyi and PPS to Olofa of Offa-Mr. Idowu Israel visited the Hon. Minister of Interior-Hon (Dr) Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo at the old Federal Secretariat in Abuja. Also with the team are: HRM Oba Sharafa Adeniyi Buhari, the Onijagbo of Ijagbo and Evangelist Muyiwa Asagunla.
In his introductory speech, the ODU Global President remarked that Offa and Ijagbo are two inseparable twin brothers for ages and have both decided to pay a courtesy call to the Hon. Minister of Interior and physically thanking him for the passport office sites in Offa.
The Olofa of Offa reiterated the cordial relationship between Offa and Ijagbo and the reason for the joint visit by him and Onijagbo of Ijagbo. He also thanked the Hon. Minister for the Passport Office in Offa and made these 3 key requests from the Hon. Minister:
In response, the Hon. Minister appreciates the visit and considered the visit a renewed hope that people still believe in the government. The Minister assured that the Ministry will attend to the request by the Olofa of Offa. He affirmed that the Hon. Minister of Justice and Attoney of the Federation-Hon. Lateef Fagbemi SAN is a good man and that Onijagbo of Ijagbo and Olofa of Offa should rally round him and give him all the necessary supports to succeed. He finally prayed for the people of Offa and Ijagbo.
