The Offa Descendants Union, ODU, under the leadership of Alhaji Azeez Muideen Olaniyi Salako, *has congratulated the new President of Offa Metropolitan Club (OMC), Barrister Rabana-Lawal, SAN, and members of his executive following their election during the club AGM held at Awrab Suites Offa on Saturday, December 23, 2023.*
*OMC is one of the clubs in Offa that has been dedicated to the development of Offa and its people since it was established.* The union also *congratulated the immediate past president of the club, Chief Mrs Serah Alade, who, during her time, the club constructed the multi-billion-naira Offa Medical Center.* This medical facility, *which is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment, has greatly improved the quality of healthcare for the people and has become a source of pride for the club and the community as a whole.*
*ODU is grateful for the OMC’s contributions to the community and prays that the club will continue to grow and thrive.* The union also *urged the new executive of the club to focus on more impactful projects that will benefit the people of Offa and the community as a whole.*
The club’s other new executive members were Aare Waheed Olagunju as Vice President, Ogbeni Hon. Seun Ogunniyi Adato as General Secretary, Aare Musbau Olaniyi as Assistant General Secretary, Alhaji Fatai Oladipo as Treasurer, and Engr Jide Kazeem as PRO. Others were Engr Sarafa Ibrahim as Project Committee Chairman, Ms. Muibat Ijaya as General Service Committee Chairperson, and Mrs. Shade Omoniyi as Finance Committee Chairperson.
