In a significant move towards enhancing educational opportunities, the Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation has initiated the selection process for sponsoring 130 public school students’ WAEC registrations in Offa. The foundation aims to alleviate financial barriers that hinder students from pursuing education in the region.
Commencing today, the selection process will span several weeks to identify deserving students based on their financial need. Recognizing the impact of exam fees as a potential obstacle to education, the MOK Foundation is committed to providing support to ensure that these students can participate in the WAEC exams.
As part of their commitment to educational enrichment, the MOK foundation’s team visited several schools today, delivering educational books to further empower students. The featured book, “Children and School Libraries” by Mrs. Salawu K.Y., offers guidance on fostering lifelong reading habits—an essential skill for academic success.
The schools visited include:
– Okin High School
– Tawakaltu Grammar School
– Iyeru Grammar School
– Taoheed Secondary School
– Moremi High School
– Government Day Secondary School
– Nawairudeen Secondary School
– Ansarul Islam Secondary School
