As part of efforts to bring relief to businesses and contribute positively to people’s well-being, the Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode Foundation is set to empower over 2000 persons in both Offa and Oyun local governments area of Kwara State.
The Founder, Alhaji Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode disclosed this through his representative, Mr. Saheed Lawal at the foundation headquarters in Offa recently which according to him will flag off on Sunday 5th of November, 2023.
Mr. Lawal said the MOK Foundation as a philanthropic organization is again targeting small-scale business owners that will cut across Offa and Oyun local government areas where funds will be released to the beneficiaries in groups.
He added that the 2000 persons are expected to form different groups where each group will not be less than 10 members as small-scale business owners will only form the bulk of the beneficiaries.
Part of the modalities is that beneficiaries will circulate the fund among their groups and give weekly progress reports through their executives to the foundation.
Recall that the MOK foundation has supported market men and women in Owode and Oja-Oba markets in Offa with funds for their businesses.
This attempt is another initiative of the Foundation to assist the people with small scale businesses at the grassroots.
