The Offa Descendants Union (ODU), under the leadership of Alhaji Olaniyi Muideen Azzez Salako, has congratulated the duo of Mr. Soba Ajeigbe and Mrs. Mary Oluwabukola Faremi on their Award of Excellence. Both Soba and Bukola are sports enthusiasts with a particular love and strong passion for volleyball. While Soba is the coach of Offa Volleyball Club, Coach Bukky, as she is known among her admirers, is the coach of Olalomi Volleyball Club Offa.
The award, which was one of the highest award categories at the Nigeria Volleyball Coaches Association (NVCA), was bestowed on Coaches Soba and Bukola at the just concluded AGM/Dinner Night at Moshood Abiola National Stadium Abuja in recognition of their contributions to the development and progress of Nigerian volleyball as club owners in the Nigeria Volleyball Premier League.
ODU describes both Soba and Bukky as exceptional technocrats, achievers, and epitomes of excellence. Both are committed community developers and worthy ambassadors for Offa; their immense contributions to the development of the volleyball industry in Offa, Kwara State, and Nigeria cannot be overemphasised.
The union encourages both coaches, Soba and Bukky, to continue making Offa proud and wishes them more accomplishments in life.
