Honourable Kayode Atolagbe, the Transition Implementation Committee (TIC) Chairman of Ifedayo local government area of Osun State, has declared he would run all inclusive government.
Honourable Atolagbe made this disclosure during a prayer organised to celebrate Honourable Clement Akanni Olohunwa’s birthday at Ora-Igbomina.
The council boss said he is not going to shut his door, adding that Ifedayo will witness a great and positive turnaround during his time.
He said, “the purpose of our gathering here today is to celebrate the birthday of our amiable leader. We all know that Honourable Clement Akanni Olohunwa is a leader who deserves to be celebrated at all times.
“Hon. Akanni Olohunwa is a leader who doesn’t joke or take with levity the welfare of his people. I so much believe that all the prayers that have been offered here today will go to him and he will be successful in life.
“I want to tell us that I have learnt rudiments of good governance from my boss Akanni Olohunwa, and I want to assure you all that I will not let you down. I am going to run an all inclusive government. My doors are widely opened. Call me anytime; I will pick your call and talk to you directly.”
He thereafter urged the mammoth crowd who gathered to keep supporting the administration of governor Ademola Adeleke.
“This is our government, we should continue to pray for His Excellency, Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke. His Excellency’s government runs on our collective prayer and support.
“You all know what the PDP government represents. This is a government who doesn’t joke with the welfare of the people.”
He disclosed that he is going to roll out some empowerment programmes which would be beneficial for all and sundry.
“I want to disclose that our adminstration is going to roll out empowerment programmes which all of you will benefit from.”
People from Oke-Ila and Ora Igbomina gathered together to celebrate Hon. Clement Akanni “Olohunwa”s birthday. Prayers were offered by Muslim clerics, Pastors, community leaders and well wishers.
