The Offa Descendant Union, ODU, under the leadership of Alhaji Olaniyi Muideen Azeez Salako, has mourned the death of Alhaja Rafatu Aduke Ijaya of Ile Arole Offa. The late Rafatu Ijaya was the mother of the Yeye Bobaseye of Offa, Alhaja Kudirat Ijaya ( LARAKUD Motors Ilorin).
The union stated that the late Rafatu Aduke, who died in the early hours of September 20, 2023, had lived a life of lessons, hard work, and dedication to her family, Almighty God, and her community. The late Rafatu was undeniably an extraordinary mother. The proof of her exceptional motherhood lies not only in her own children but also in those who had the privilege of being under her guidance during her lifetime.
ODU prays to Almighty Allah to give members of the Ijaya family, lovers, and associates of Mama Rafatu Aduke the strength and fortitude to bear her passage. The union also prays for Mama’s gentle soul to rest in perfect peace.
