The Offa Descendant Union, ODU, has felicitated its National President, Alhaji Olaniyi Muideen Azeez Salako, on his appointment as the substantial Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council of the Edusoko University, Bida, Niger State. Alhaji Salako’s appointment was contained in a letter to him by the Etsu Nupe and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the university, HRH Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar CFR, on August 25.
The union noted that the entire ODU national executive council, members, and Offa community were extremely delighted to learn of the appointments, describing the appointment of Alhaji Salako as a well-earned reward for hard work, consistency, dedication to duty, and a track record of outstanding performance in his endeavours.
While congratulating Alhaji Salako on this laudable achievement, the union is confident that with his leadership, the university will continue to produce great men and women who will bring about a better Nigeria and also improve the world at large. The union also prayed for God’s guidance on his new appointment.
