The Offa Descendants Union (ODU), under the able leadership of Alhaji Salako Olaniyi Azeez Muideen, has congratulated Dr. Amina El-Imam on her recent appointment as Commissioner for Health by the Kwara State Government. Dr. Amina and the other newly appointed commissioners were administered the oath of office on Monday, September 4, 2023, by the Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
ODU commends Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazak for his foresight in selecting Dr. Amina El-Imam as commissioner in his cabinet. Her appointment underscores her exemplary track record and her commitment to improving the well-being of the people of the state. It also shows Governor Abdulrazak’s commitment to ensuring that qualified and competent individuals are entrusted with important portfolios within his administration. With her wealth of experience and expertise, Dr. Amina El-Imam is poised to bring positive changes to the healthcare sector in the state. The union is confident that Dr. Amina will serve with utmost dedication, passion, and integrity.
While wishing Dr. Amina El-Imam all the best in her new role as Commissioner for Health, the union urged Dr. Amina to see to the upgrading of all health facilities across the state, particularly the Offa Specialist Hospital, which needs a total overhaul to the standard of a specialist hospital.
