The Management and staff of Okin 105.7 FM, Offa, Kwara State has felicitated the state National Union of Teachers (NUT), Comrade Bashir Oyewo as he clocked 60 years today, Monday, June 24, 2023.
Oyewo is also the Kwara State Vice Chairman for Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC)
According to information made available to News Bulletin Nigeria, the birthday and retirement special prayer took place Monday morning at his private residence in Offa.
The event was well attended by family members, friends, colleagues and well wishers.
Okin FM furthermore extolled Comrade Oyewo on the landmark age, which has been heralded by many lofty achievements in his community and state, which included but not limited to prioritising the welfare of teachers and workers in the state.
The radio station also acknowledged him as an intellectual analyst who has contributed immensely to discourses that benefited the community, state and the nation at large on our news and current affairs shows.
Okin FM thereafter prayed that the almighty God will endue the Kwara NUT Chairman with abundant health and wisdom to continually be productive in the efforts towards community and national developments.
