The Founder of the Living Faith Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo and his wife were among top dignitaries in Benin City on Saturday to honour, Archbishop Margaret Idahosa, wife of the late televangelist and Founder of Church of God Mission international on the occasion of her 80th birthday.
The event tagged “a luncheon with Mama” is a combination of series of event to celebrate the Archbishop on her birthday which took place at tent ground, balm of Gilead City, Benin City.
The event featured the unveiling of a book in her honour titled “the Margaret Idahosa we know”.

Declaring the event open, Chairman of the occasion who is also the founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo lauded the attributes of the celebrant especially as it relates to humanity.
He said today’s celebration is a platform to celebrate God for his good hand upon his handmade.
Reviewing the book titled “The Margaret Idahosa we know” Professor Ikiilieh from Benson Idahosa University, BIU, said the 53 chapter-book focuses on the life of Mrs. Idahosa and has contribution from Senior Ministers across the globe and presented alphabetically.
Ikiilieh said the contributors were guided by basically set of the same questionnaire namely; the first encounter with Archbishop Margaret Idahosa, how there relationship has been a blessing to the various contributors and her contributions to the society as a whole.
There were Goodwill messages from Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki represented by his wife, Mrs Besty Obaseki.
The Governor express his joy on behalf of the good people of Edo State on the pride of having Archbishop Margaret who has been a bright and joy to the people across the universe.
Mrs Besty Obaseki however noted that ” to honour the celebrant, the Governor has approved the renaming of the road at first Ugbowo and now be known as Archbishop Margaret Idahosa avenue”.
Pastor Mrs Foluke Adeboye better known as Mummy G.O, wife of Pastor Enoch Adeboye blessed God for the life of the celebrant while encouraging her to continue building a good legacy that would be worthy of emulating.
The celebrant, Archbishop Margaret Idahosa was full of appreciation for the live and support shown her by the guests.
In her words, ” I want to on behalf of the Idahosa and church of God Mission international to say a big profound thank you to everyone that has come here this day to celebrate an individual”.
She thank Governor Obaseki for the pleasant birthday gift given to her.

The Celebrant thereafter took to the dance floor in admiration of guests who cheered on as she thrilled them with her dance steps.
After the death of her husband, Archbishop Benson Idahosa, Dr Margaret Idahosa took over as the Archbishop of the Church of God Mission International, the Christ ministry he founded.
She is also the chancellor of Benson Idahosa University, BIU.
