The Offa Descendants’ Union, ODU, under the able leadership of Alhaji Muideen Olaniyi Azeez-Salako, has congratulated Dist. Senator Oyelola Yisa Ashiru on his election as the Deputy Chief Whip of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In its congratulatory message, the union hailed the emergence of Senator Ashiru, adding that his emergence is a testament to the faith, leadership qualities, patience, and interpersonal relations capacity he has exhibited over the years. The union expressed its optimism that Senator Ashiru would continue to offer quality leadership in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
ODU urges Senator Ashiru to continue placing the welfare, wishes, and aspirations of his constituents above every other consideration by bringing more development closer to his constituency. The union prays to God to grant Sen. Ashiru the strength and wisdom to discharge his new responsibilities.
