A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State, Honourable Marooph Bukoye Bintinlaye has commended Nigerian workers for their resilience as Nigeria celebrates Workers’ Day May 1st.

According to Bintinlaye, Nigerian workers keep abreast of their duties and responsibilities in the face of multi-faceted challenges.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Kwara PDP Cheiftain, on Monday.

“We should all commend steadfastness and resilience of the Nigerian workers. These people are beyond committed to national integration and unity, enormous challenges regardless.

“May Day should not entirely be for parade and off day for workers, but another day to reflect on their sacrifices, struggles and rights.

“As we join the rest of the world in marking the 2023 International Workers’ Day, deliberate steps must be taken to safeguard the socio-economic rights of workers. Governments at the federal and state government levels must initiate, reinvigorate, and focus on policies that promote inclusiveness, protect and prioritize our workers.

“Policies should be put in place as measures that would bring respite to and improve the quality of living of Nigerian workers.

Honourable Bukoye Marooph Bintinlaye thereafter ledged his continued commitment to championing the continuous development of Nigerian workers.
