The Offa Descendant Union (ODU), under the leadership of Alhaji Olaniyi Muideen Azeez Salako, has consoled the Olofa of Offa, HRM Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Esuwoye II, Olori Mistura Shobaloju Gbadamosi, and the Offa Traditional Council over the death of Alhaja Ayisat Abike Amolegbe, the mother of Olori Mistura Gbadamosi who died on the 2nd of April 2023 at the age of 88 years.

In a condolences message signed by the ODU National Social Secretary and Ag NPRO, Idowu Muhydeen Oladipo, on behalf of the National President, Alhaji Salako described Alhaja Ayisat as a devoted Muslim and peace-loving mother who dedicated her entire life to the service of Allah and the benefit of humanity.

Alhaji Salako, who also commiserates with the Timi of Ede and the people of Ede, Osun State, where Mama hailed from, observed that Alhaja Ayisat Amolegbe committed her resources and time to the training of her children and left a footprint that adorable and worthy of emulation. He added that the good children Mama left behind testify to the fact that she lived a good and disciplined life.

The Union prays for the repose of the kind soul of Alhaja Ayisat while urging those Mama left behind to thank Allah for the beautiful life she lived and the virtues she bequeathed to them.
