The Offa Descendants Union (ODU), under the leadership of Alhaji Olaniyi Muideen Azeez Salako, has congratulated the new Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Engr. Dr. Kadiri Kamoru Oluwatoyin, on his appointment.
A statement by its National Social Secretary and Ag. National Publicity Secretary, Idowu Muhydeen Oladipo said the National President, Alhaji Salako, described Oluwatoyin’s appointment as well deserved and expressed his confidence that the institution would witness a new era of infrastructural development and academic excellence with the appointment of the new Rector.
“On behalf of the ODU, I congratulate Engr. Dr. KK, as it is popularly known, on his appointment as the 5th substantive Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Offa by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, HE Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR.”
“I want to urge all other contestants, staff, indigenous and residents of Offa to cooperate with the new Rector to sustain and improve upon the giant strides recorded by the Polytechnic. We do not doubt the capacity of Engr Oluwatoyin to use his high level of experience to develop the institution to a greater level”
According to the statement, “the union, on behalf of the indigenes and residents of Offa, prays for a very peaceful and eventful tenure for the new Rector. The union, as a major stakeholder, wishes to assure the new Rector of our cooperation and support.“
