The Offa Descendant Union (ODU), under the leadership of Alhaji Olaniyi Muideen Azeez Salako, has sent a congratulatory message to Professor Kabir Durowade on his recent elevation to the rank of Professor of Community Medicine by the Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD).
In a congratulatory message by the Union’s National Social Secretary and Ag NPRO, Idowu Muhydeen Oladipo, Alhaji Salako described Durowade’s confirmation of promotion to the enviable rank of Professor as a well-deserved recognition of his outstanding contribution to scholarship.
The message reads in part: “On behalf of the ODU National Executive Committee and good people of Offa, I wish to heartily congratulate you for the confirmation of promotion to the exalted position of Professor by the Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti (ABUAD). Your elevation to the position of Professor, which is well deserved, is an acknowledgment of your outstanding contribution to scholarship which has attracted national and international recognition.”
Alhaji Salako further expressed confidence in Durowade’s ability to perform creditably in his service to humanity, stressing that he did not doubt that the elevation to the enviable position of a Professor, will serve as an impetus for greater achievements for him.
Professor Kabir Durowade, who is from Ajia Oke compound Offa, is a Medical Doctor and Consultant Community Physician at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti, and a lecturer with the Afe Babalola University Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD).
