The Offa Descendant Union (ODU), under the leadership of Alhaji Olaniyi Muideen Azeez Salako, has commended the family of Mallam Abdullateef Lawal on the official handing over of the newly built Abdullateef Adigun Lawal Mosque, donated by the family, to Olalomi Comprehensive College and Atari Muslim Community Offa
Alhaji Salako, in a message by the ODU National Social Secretary and Ag NPRO, Idowu Muhydeen Oladipo, appreciated the family for the great honour done to their late parent and urged others to emulate such gestures.
He called on the benefiting community to properly utilize the Mosque through the daily congregational prayers, Qur’an recitation, and propagation of true teachings of Islam, especially to the young ones.
Alhaji Salako prayed to Almighty Allah to accept the construction of the Jumat Mosque as Sadaqot Jaariyah (everlasting charity) for the late Abdullateef Lawal and the family he left behind.
