Olympiacos has terminated the contract of James Rodriguez with the Greek club.
The former Madrid man joined the Greek club eight months ago.
“Olympiacos FC and James Rodriguez have decided to terminate their cooperation. James will always be part of our club and a member of the “red-and-white” family. We want to thank him for his service and we wish him every success in the future,” the club said in a statement posted on Twitter.
Rodriguez made 23 appearances for Olympiacos, scoring five goals and laying on six assists.
Although the former Real Madrid midfielder has not played since February with an injury he could be soon seen in action
AS reports that Turkish giants Galatasaray and Besiktas have already gotten in touch with him.
