Following an emergency meeting of Orolu Stakeholders that was held on Thursday, 16th March, 2023 at Town Hall, Ifon-Osun. The community leaders that comprises of representatives of Olufon Royal Family, Olufon Traditional Council of Chiefs and National leadership of Ifon-Orolu Progressive Union (IPU) hereby state as follows: Commend His Excellency, Sen. Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke, the Executive Governor of Osun State for brilliant performance by his new administration within 100 days in office.
The people of Orolu Local Government want to use this medium to demand immediate removal of the current Head of Local Government Administration (HLA) in Orolu Local Government area, Mr Wale Adedapo, because of his insensitivity to issues affecting Orolu development.
The Orolu people has observed that continued retention of the current Head of Local Government Administration in Orolu Local Government Area has translated to poor development in the area throughout cumulative period of his over 5 years in the area.
People of Orolu Local Government area can no longer tolerate anti-people approach of the Orolu Head of Local Government Administration, especially in the new era that Orolu is looking forward to accelerated development.
We would like to emphasize and advice that Governor Ademola Adeleke administration should not wait until situation escalate beyond control before taking appropriate action.
In conclusion, the people of Orolu would like to seize this medium to remind Osun State Government on the need to do all needful towards completion and commissioning of proposed Osun State High Court in Ifon-Osun. We are yours on behalf of Orolu Stakeholders.
