Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has reacted to his suspension from the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

NEWS BULLETIN NG reports that the party had in a statement on Thursday evening, announced the suspension of Fayose, Pius Anyim and other members from the party owing to alleged anti-party activities.

Reacting to the development, Fayose described the move by the party’s National Working Committee, NWC as “the last kick of a dead horse.”

According to the former governor, the National Chairman of the party, Senator Iyorchia Ayu would end in matter of days.

Fayose, who reacted to the suspension through his Spokesperson, Lere Olayinka, said “Ayu and his cohorts are only entertaining themselves with the purported suspension as their latest comedy skit.”

He asserted that PDP and its members would experience a fresh lease on life and that the disgraceful reign of Ayu as the party’s chairman would pass into history in a matter of days.

In due course, the PDP will be rescued once more by Fayose and other party members who remained by it when Atiku and his cronies abandoned it to perish.
