Accord Party has reportedly suspended the party’s Chairman in Offa local government area of Kwara State, Mallam Aliyu Ibrahim over anti-party activities.
Aliyu’s suspension was contained in a letter dated Thursday, March 16, 2023 by Kwara State Working Committee of Accord Party.
As reliably gathered by News Bulletin Nigeria, the suspension is due to Mallam Aliyu’s affiliations with Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state.
The letter reads in part: “The State Central Working Committee has received complaint from both officials and members of our great party in Offa local government pointing to the facts that you have indulged in numerous activities that put the ACCORD PARTY to a great disadvantage and disrepute.”
