KíFormer Oyo State lawmaker, Tirimisiyu Okunola, has been reported dead.
He represented the Ido State constituency in 2007 and 2011, under the platform of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP).
He later defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Okunola’s younger brother, Bashir Okunola, however, announced the demise of the former lawmaker on Sunday via his Facebook page.
He noted that the politician died as a result of diabetes.
