…. PDP’s Return Will Bring Succour After APC’s Eight Years of Rots
The National Director Contact and Mobilization for Atiku Care Foundation (ACF), Honourable Bukoye Marooph Bintinlaye has donated a sum of #100,000 to Atari community in Offa, Kwara State to purchase power transformer.
According to him, the money was donated on behalf of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state as so as to foster growth and boost power supply in the area.
In a statement signed by Honourable Marooph Bintinlaye and made available to journalists on Tuesday, he said: “the community made it known that there was a need for an alternative transformer to complement the existing one that was overloaded due to expansion.
“I had to grant their request and illuminating the community in the new year. This is an area that has been left in perpetual darkness for a long time. The transformer was installed during PPD-led administration of Barrister Olusegun Olawoyin as Offa LG Chairman.
“The essence of governance is to bring succour to the people, contributing my quota to the purchase of the transformer is part of humanitarian responsibilities to the community. This is what People’s Democratic Party (PDP) stands for, and this is what people will be experiencing once we get voted in the coming elections.
“Governance is a continuum. But the APC government doesn’t understand that as they lack maintenance and sustenance cultures. The PDP is just out of government in Kwara for four years and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-led administration reverted the state to stone age. He has virtually sit duck at the helms of affairs of the state in four years. There are no landmark projects in the last four years he took over.
“Kwarans are wiser now, and know voting out these people is the only way to their sufferings can be ameliorated.
According to him, businesses in the area had suffered, adding that the residents of Atari had to go the extra mile to purchase fuel on a daily basis to sustain their businesses.
“This is what APC government mean for Nigeria: hardship, penury and inconveniences. Nigeria need to get it right this time and they are more than ready to vote out the evil people in a few days time.
“These people should spend the rest of their lives apologizing to Nigerians for failing to deliver on their promises and the biting economic downtown in the country.
“Recently, the government decided to redesign the Naira for reasons that are only known to them, disregarding the implications of that decision, which even the common man on the street knows will have a significant negative impact on the value of the Naira and worsen the hardship already present in the nation. This development has led many to wonder if the government is trying to make life in Nigeria unbearable for Nigerians.
“It is to this government’s credit that the ASUU strike has cost Nigerian students nearly two years of schooling since the government allowed the strike to drag on. Even though the government agreed to end the strike, it still hasn’t paid the lecturers their promised salaries, giving them the chance to strike once more. No thanks to the APC.
“This government needs to be informed that Nigerians are starving and extremely irate. Nigerians have advanced several years under this government’s policies, and it would take years for the nation to return to its pre-APC status.
Bukoye Marooph Bintinlaye asserted that growing inflation has turned Nigerians’ little salaries worthless and that they are suffering extreme hardship.
He then expressed his disappointment that successes of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP-led government that left office in 2015 were not sustained by the APC.
He continued: “It is gathered that the lives, health, businesses and security of life and property of the community at large had been affected negatively due to incessant power failure in the area.
“I believe this will improve living and sustain businesses for people in Atari. They should however protect it from being vandalized,” Bintinlaye concluded.
