Atiku Abubakar,, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has won the just concluded presidential election in Yobe State after defeating his closest challenger, All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The collation of the results chaired by the state presidential returning officer, Prof. Umaru Pate, also revealed that Atiku polled the highest votes with 198,567 votes, while Tinubu got 151,459 votes.
Other details of the results showed that of the NNPP, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, came third with 18,270 votes while LP scored 2,406 votes, APGA 875 and YPP 630 votes, respectively.
