…..Says APC Has Lost Moral Bearings, Derailed From Tenets Of Democracy
The National Director Contact and Mobilization for Atiku Care Foundation (ACF), Honourable Bukoye Marooph Bintinlaye donates a sum of #100,000 to Gaa Seriki, a community in Offa, Kwara State to rehabilitate a well and buy rings therein.
Bintinlaye who made the donation through Honourable Adeyemo Mufutau, Offa LG PDP Secretary, said it was done on behalf of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The well is situated at Gaa Seriki in Igbodun ward, Offa local government area of Kwara State.
Alhaji Marooph Bintinlaye, in a statement on Sunday and made available to journalists on Sunday said: “our party is committed to wellbeing of Nigerians and all.
“Since the APC-led government has been discovered to be a propagandists one, we (the PDP) have to ensure we show the people we are always with them. We are listening to their yearnings. That is why I’m contributing my quotas.
The APC has lost its moral bearing – if it has any – and has taken to some exclusionary practices which are against the tenets of Democracy. This is a party that engages in blame game rather than fixing things, they discontinued legacy projects so accolades won’t be attributed to the PDP that started it; they favour money beyond competency, vested interest beyond common interest, chronic elitism beyond to public good, politics of exclusion beyond inclusion.
“Please allow me to take this opportunity to beg and appeal to our various governments across the nation as well as to all men of goodwill. We must pay attention to the state in which basic facilities like restrooms, classrooms, water, electricity, and more are deteriorating. In a major portion of our society’s communities, none are accessible,” Bintinlaye concluded.
Recall that Alhaji Bukoye Marooph Bintinlaye has earlier donated #100,000 to Atari community in Offa to purchase power transformer as well as another #80,000 to the same community for rehabilitation of well as well as purchase of rings.
