……Says both Tinubu and AbdulRahman have Similar Cases of alleged Certificate Forgeries
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State has stated that, ascribing honesty and hard work to the outgoing governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is another goof, untrue and laughable statement from the grandpatron of corruption himself, Bola Ahmed Tinubu- whose life exemplified everything that is wrong with leadership in Nigeria.
This was contained in a statement signed by Sholyment Olusegun Olusola, HOD New media, Kwara PDP’S Campaign Council, on Wednesday.

“Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Tuesday, was quoted to have ascribed honesty and hardwork to Governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq, a Governor whom under his 3 years leadership, more than 20million dollars NG-CARE fund have grown wings , 138million tranformer fund was stolen by alleged family member, comtracts are being awarded to woman friends and cronies without due process and major construction works are now being executed using direct labour .
“While we consider this as political statements; it is not pardonable to forgive Mr Tinubu, a grand patrons of Corruption who has been unable to explain to Nigerians, all sudden wealth he had amassed between 1999 and now when he has hold sway as lagos landlord. A morally depleted, mentally unstable individual such as Mr Tinubu – with loads of corruption cases including drug indictment in foreign court, hanging on his neck, lacks moral integrity to talk about honesty.
“Sad enough, this reckless statement is coming at a time when members of the APC in Kwara state including serving APC Senator, two Apc ministers are all ashamed to identify with Governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq or his campaign after 3 years of failure, economic instabilities, corruption and wanton stealing of our collective patrimony.
“While we may save the Bola Tinubu’s bullion van’s story for another day, we will elucidate Governor AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq’s government to remind Tinubu who is obviously pretending to not know all the havoc wrecked on Kwara by his self-imposed “O Sapa Mi Lori” Governor
“We will like to educate Tinubu about alleged diversion of N300million monthly from local government funds in Kwara State, which informed the reason for resignation of the Governor erstwhile female commissioner , the N750 million contract inflation, and the N6billion fund allegedly spent by the government without the approval of the former State Auditor General.
“The Kwara state government (KWSG) also admitted that the contract sum for the Ilesha Baruba – Gwanara road project was inflated by ₦751,551,647.22, this is coming eight months after the ICIR-funded report in June, 2022!
“Furthermore, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq awarded a contract for the renovation of Government High School, Adeta Ilorin, at an inflated cost of N360million, this fraud was discovered by the APC led Kwara state house of Assembly . The controversial Adeta High school contract was awarded to CONCEL Engineering, a Lagos based portfolio company owned by Governor Abdulrazaq’s long-time friend, Sola Braithwaite.
“When they came with Otoge slogan in 2019, Kwara thought they were good people, they shouted around and made mountains out of molehills. They lied on the Saraki’s Dynasty. We are happy to inform Tinubu and his agents that Kwarans – indeed Nigerians – can no longer be deceived.
“This was a group of people that promised heaven on earth when they wanted to come in 2019. They promised what they could not do and had no ideas on. They can be likened to a group of monkeys that hijacked a car but don’t know how to drive it. Through cacophony of lies, well-scripted schemes and propaganda, they had Kwarans believed they were giving them a ‘messiah’ of such. They gave someone presumed to have stunted education background.
“It is no longer news that the main beneficiary of the 2019 Otoge movement, Mallam AbdulRahman has become a common enemy even within the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“Top Otoge politicians who were instrumental to his emergence are now dissatisfied with his self centred style of leadership. The Governor has succeeded in sending them out of the party. These are people who were former APC governorship aspirants, like Former House of Rep member, Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa , Prof Abdulraheem Shuaib Oba, Mallam Gobir , Hakeem Lawal, Engr Sunday Babalola, Khaleel Bolaji and Tajudeen Audu, among others. He has snatched the party’s structure from them and designed himself as sole generalissimo of apc
“Kwarans in the last seven years have witnessed what could best be described as a nightmare. Who would believe that in Kwara, only one contractor , a member of AbdulRazaq family , could callously run away with N138million, a fund meant for procurement of tranformers ,leaving people of Kwara in perpetual darkness since over a year.
“Today, the reality in Kwara for for Kwarans is that the state has taken too many steps backwards since 2019
“We know for a fact that the well-being of Kwarans is nothing to character’s like Tinubu, so far AbdulRazaq is making his return to him at bourdillion but we assure Tinubu and APC that Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq will meet his waterloo in another watershed in the forthcoming elections,” the statement concluded.
