As we approach 2023 general elections, the people of Osun are enjoined to think about the person they want to vote for, because Nigeria needs a competent, reliable & healthy president, and we can find these in Alhaji Atiku Abubakar
Party like the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), by looking into the achievements made during the regime of Olusegun Obasanjo, Umar Musa Yar’adua and Goodkuck Ebele Jonathan when Nigeria was well recognized as truly the giant of Africa, remain indelible.
The system operated by the PDP government brings about progress and development for the people. For example, during the regime of Olusegun Obasanjo, cell phone was introduced into the country, among other things his administration was able to achieve.
During Jonathan’s presidency, Dollar to Naira was just N167, and now it’s N750. During his regime, bag of rice was just N8,000, the price today is N45,000.
In Osun State, during the regime of Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, students always collect textbooks to be used free of charge. Students of tertiary institutions got bursary awards as and when due.
Nigeria’s debt during the administration of PDP from 1999 – 2015 was N7 trillion. In just seven years of APC administration, our debt has grown to over N77 trillion with little or nothing to show for it.
The APC administrations in Osun incurred a lot of debt but failed to disclose the total debt, not until the arrival of Ademola Adeleke of PDP. He is running a transparent government.
Glancing through the achievements of PDP both at the state and federal levels, it could be seen that PDP has a good governance model for her citizens.
Let’s vote for credibility, accountability, and transparency for the betterment and growth of our Nation, Nigeria.
Let’s vote PDP from top to bottom.
