The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), is allegedly exploiting the face of Peter Obi to campaign in the northern States, according to Daniel Bwala, the spokesperson for the Atiku, Okowa Presidential Campaign Council.
On Thursday, Bwala clarified the matter while taking questions for the Arise Television Morning Show program.
A video that was circulating online and showed rice sacks with the PDP emblem and the face of Obi on them was examined by DAILY POST.
Bwala, however, has publicly said that it did not originate from the PDP.
He said, “That is not true to have emanated from us. Why I am saying that is because if you go to Bauchi now, people are even reporting that the Governor of Bauchi State is with the G-5. So, could he be behind that? Certainly no.”
