The All Progressives Congress’ (APC) Bola Tinubu has promised to end fuel subsidies if elected president.
In order to create a conducive atmosphere for business, Tinubu also pledged to control the security situation in Nigeria.
At a business luncheon with business owners in Lagos on Thursday, the flagbearer made the vow.
The former governor promised that, if elected, he would make audacious choices that would revive the country’s economy.
Nigeria would stop subsidizing neighboring nations’ gasoline usage, according to Tinubu.
“How can we subsidise the fuel consumption of Cameroon, Niger, Benin Republic?
“No matter how long you protest, we are going to remove the fuel subsidy”, he vowed.
