Co-founder and deputy managing director of Vetiva Capital, one of Nigeria’s top capital management firms, Olaolu Mudashiru passed away.
According to reports, the businessman/investment banker was riding a bicycle with a group of bikers when a car slammed into their bikes on Gerrard Road in the upscale district of Ikoyi, Lagos, and then drove off, leaving them with very serious injuries.
According to reports, Mr. Mudashiru and the other two bikers were transported by ambulance to the Lagoon Hospital in Ikoyi on Bourdillon Road, where Mudashiru later succumbed to head injuries.
Mr Mudashiru earned his medical degree from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and his MBA from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom.
He was the late Air Commodore Gbolahan Mudashiru’s son, a former military official in charge of Lagos State.
