Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress, APC, has denied hurriedly leaving the stage during a rally in Minna, Niger State.
Before going other events in the state, Tinubu revealed that the gathering that welcomed him was so large that he had to speak to them momentarily.
The APC nominee denied rumors that he hastily departed the campaign trail because of his health.
He claimed that the protest had never seen such a large gathering.
Through Bayo Onanuga, the campaign team’s spokesperson, he made this announcement.
A statement by Onanuga reads partly: “A massive crowd of APC supporters welcomed the presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to Minna on Wednesday, as he arrived for the mega rally.
“The cheering crowd was unprecedented, according to journalists at the Trade Fair Complex, venue of the rally.
“Tinubu, who held another successful rally in Kaduna on Tuesday, arrived in Minna in the evening of the same day for a series of meetings with APC leaders.”
Lately, some political stakeholders have questioned Tinubu’s health status.
They noted that Tinubu might not be able to function as Nigeria’s president due to his alleged failing health.
