The National Director Contact and Mobilization for Atiku Care Foundation (ACF), Honourable Bukoye Marooph Bintinlaye has congratulated former senate president of Nigeria, Abubakar Bukola Saraki on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

Bintinlaye, in a statement issued by his media aide, hailed the former governor of Kwara State for his commitment to nation-building and long years of patriotic service to the country.

The member of the PDP Presidential Campaign in Kwara State described the former senate president as ‘a patriot, selfless and steadfast leader of uncommon zeal,’ citing that at 26 years old Saraki has enlisted himself into the service of humanity as he joined Rush Green Hospital, Essex, as a medical officer from 1988 to 1989. He later become a director of Société Générale Bank (Nig) Ltd from 1990 to 2000. In 2000, President Olusegun Obasanjo appointed Saraki as Special Assistant to the President on Budget.

He added that at 60, former senate president can look back and be proud of his unblemished record of service to the humanity, Nigeria and Kwara State.

The statement read, “I heartily congratulate my leader, Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki, MBBS, CON, on the momentous and remarkable occasion of his 60th birthday.

“A medical doctor, Director of Bank, Presidential Assistant, Governor, Senator, Senate President and Presidential candidate. All these but testify that Saraki has been a selfless and steadfast leader, and a patriot with uncommon zeal who has dedicated almost his entire life to the service of Nigeria.

“Our country is lucky to have this great man and dedicated public servant at this time. Senate Saraki has led an extraordinary life of service to Nigeria at every duty post with unassailable integrity. History will be kind to him and record his contributions to the progress, unity and stability of Nigeria in volumes.

“As a people, we are incredibly fortunate to have a leader who values nothing more than the chance to serve his country, a duty he has always carried out with the utmost devotion.

“We are proud that our leader is still serving the country at the age of 60, doing great things, leading the nation to astounding advancements, and steadily steering it toward the Promised Land, via ‘Recover Nigeria’ mission.

“I join Senator Bukola Saraki’s family, friends, colleagues, and all well-wishers in wishing him a happy birthday and many more joyous returns of the day in good health on behalf of our great party, the PDP, Atiku Care Foundation (ACF) and my family.”
