Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of Portugal, has stated that he has not yet reached an agreement with a new club.
In response to rumors that he had reached a spectacular agreement with Al-Nasr of Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo finally spoke up.
According to reports in Spain, the 37-year-old is getting ready to start working outside of Europe.
Ronaldo’s contract with Manchester United was terminated earlier this month, making him a free agent.
According to reports, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner and Al Nassr have reached an agreement on a two-and-a-half year contract worth a staggering £172.9 million annually.
However, Ronaldo was questioned about the deal following Portugal’s 6-1 victory over Switzerland in the 2022 World Cup.
On links of a move Al-Nassr being a deal done, he replied: “No, that’s not true — not true.”
It is believed the deal is still on the table waiting for Ronaldo’s green light.
