Why I’m not too moved on Bolanle Raheem’s murder is the fact that after all the perfected press releases, social media posts by known persons (just to be in the news), meetings, probably protests and all, we won’t hear anything more.

I am seeing repetitions of Sylvester Oromoni, a student of Dowen College, Lekki in Lagos and Bamise Ayanwole, the lady who got allegedly missing on BRT while returning to Ota from Ajah on Saturday, February 26. What happens to their cases now? Is anyone following?

Nigerians can be emotional about some things/incidents, what would they do afterwards? Nothing!

I wouldn’t know if this is due to amnesia or agenda setting of the media. One thing I know is that another thing would come up and everyone forges former case(s).

I’m already seeing people feigning activism, telling narrations on Bolanle Raheem and the media, predictably, carry the those as news. What would happen after a few months?

This seems to be a pattern; a prediction.
