Most Rev. Daniel Okoh, the president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), has promised Nigerians that the general elections in 2023 won’t split the nation.
Okoh made the statement while pointing out that God has predetermined who will rule the nation.
He claimed that because God was with Nigeria, he would prevent the nation’s collapse.
At a Christmas concert in Asaba, Delta State, Okoh provided the promise.
The CAN President pleaded with Nigerians to elect leaders who would improve their nation’s circumstances and assured them that God would not leave them to their fate.
According to Okoh: “The coming election will not break Nigeria. As a matter of fact, 2023 is the year of golden opportunity for Nigeria.
“God has already chosen those who will lead the people come 2023 and since God is interested in the government and the economy of men, then the people should be involved because God will use people to turn things around for the country.”
The CAN President also allayed fear among Nigerians, stressing that God was interested in the government of the country.
