Temilade Openiyi, a well-known musician in Nigeria better known by her stage name Tems, has slammed detractors who think she is leading a bad life.
Earlier, several fans had urged the performer to start writing quality songs and leading a Christian life that would be admirable.
But she said on Tuesday night via her Twitter account that she was not into the music business to support any beliefs.
She wrote, “I don’t know who needs to hear this but I am not your Christian saviour. I didn’t come here to uphold your beliefs about God.
“I will not fit into this box you try to put me in. I won’t satisfy you in that area please find the person that will. Or ask yourself why you care”.
