A one-storey building, located on Udensi Street in the Abakaliki metropolis, have been gutted by fire on Friday.
Eyewitnesses said that fire broke out due to a surge in the electricity supply in the area, which happened intermittently between 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., on Friday.
