Nwadinobi Charles Uchemadu, a returnee from Brazil, was detained by NDLEA agents at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos, when cocaine was discovered discretely tucked away in his travel bag.
The suspect was detained on December 5 at the Lagos airport while flying back from Sao Paulo, Brazil through Doha on a Qatar Airways flight, according to NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi.
He was apprehended during the passenger check-in process after three factory-sealed cocaine packages weighing 2.70 kg were found in some of his travel bag.
