Veteran actress, Regina Askia, has revealed why she deleted an Instagram post she made on Wednesday about singer, D’banj’s fraud allegations.
Askia revealed that her younger colleague, Alexx Ekubo, advised her to stop feeding the frenzy around the allegations against the singer with her post.
D’banj was arrested and detained by the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission and Other Related Offences Commission on allegations of diverting N-power funds.
Askia, said that after she put up a post on the matter, she got a message from Ekubo saying, “Mummy I don’t think you should have posted this.”
After a long conversation between them, Askia who took down the original post said, “And my son #alexxekubo wasn’t happy about this so…”
