All members of the various committees have been urged to strategize effectively so that the zone delivers the Presidential candidate in the general elections of 2023 by Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State, the zone’s coordinator for the All Progressives Congress (APC) North Central Presidential Campaign.
Bello made the request while discussing how to organize a successful Zonal Presidential Flag-off and assure the party’s win in the general elections in Minna in 2023 with leaders of the various zonal directorates.
The governor emphasized the crucial contribution the region has played in recent elections, especially in 2015 and 2019 when the APC received large blocs of votes in the presidential contests.
” I am expecting a repeat of such support in the 2023 elections. And, all members of the Presidential Campaign Council are expected to deliver their wards,” he stated
Bello added that after hearing the leaders of the Directorates’ opinions, observations, and recommendations on how to proceed for a successful flag-off of the North Central Presidential Campaign in Jos, Plateau State, a technical meeting will be scheduled to ensure a successful flag-off.
