In the 48 hours following his announcement that he will be running for president of the United States in 2024, American singer Kanye West asked former US president Donald Trump to serve as his running partner.
The musician made this known on his Twitter page on Wednesday by posting that he visited the former president at Mar-a-Lago, a Florida resort house.

Although West insisted that he kept Trump waiting, he provided a clue as to what the topic of their conversation was.
The 45-year-old performer then challenged his audience to predict the former American president’s response to the query.
West ran a Twitter poll on the difficult question he landed on Trump as he tweeted, “First time at Mar-a-Lago. Rain and traffic. Can’t believe I kept President Trump waiting. And I had on jeans. Yikes!
“What do you guys think his response was when I asked him to be my running mate in 2024?”
Trump had already begun his campaign to seek and win the Republican nomination for president in 2024.
Trump promised to “make America great and glorious again,” but he has been accused of supporting a mob invasion of the US Capitol Building on January 6, 2021, in protest of Joe Biden’s election as president.v
