The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, is scheduled to formally launch its presidential campaign rally on November 15 in Jos, the capital of Plateau State, following a number of postponements.

Before the end of the year, multiple town hall meetings with various stakeholders would be held across the nation, according to a calendar and program of events.

The party has also set aside December 4–10 for “foreign engagements” when Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate, will meet with select diaspora stakeholders.

The Federal Capital Territory FCT, Abuja, would host a rally and musical performance on February 8, 2023, while Lagos, which is slated to host the final event, would do so on February 13.

It was noted that the party had repeatedly rescheduled its presidential rally due to an internal dispute over the make-up of its Presidential Campaign Council, or PCC.

The presidential campaigns of Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Mr. Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, respectively, have begun.
